We’re still alive! News has been a while coming.. We’ve been nestled away in our Northern Quarter basement writing and arranging new songs these past few months. We’re pleased to say that we’ve finally reached a tipping point and all of a sudden we seem to have nearly 20 new songs and lots of other ideas for covers/trad songs and instrumental meanderings. More soon!

We’ve been doing a kind of ’12 days of Christmas’ / ’Advent songs’ type of thing over on our Facebook page. We’ve been posting a song/music video every day; some are new songs released this year, others are old songs we’ve recently discovered and some are songs we’ve known about for years but for whatever reason have gained significance for us this year.

A new live video of ‘Silently’ has just been finished and is available to watch now! We were playing a gig with our friends The Voice Collective for a Musicians Without Borders fundraiser and we decided to try a bit of a musical collaboration. It was filmed at the Whitworth Art Gallery on September 24th by Jo Gait, Andy Brown and Kev Craig. Thank you everyone!

We Are Willow tour finished, other musician’s records finished/nearly finished (Last Harbour, Woodbine & Ivy, Gabriel Minnikin, GladEyes..). Onwards and upwards for S&D! Christmas song in the making for Little Red Rabbit compilation and a mini tour in the coming weeks.. Folk on!

We were due to play the Leave Me Here festival this coming weekend, but unfortunately it’s been cancelled. Instead, we’re taking the opportunity to spend the weekend in a house in Dunham Massey to work on new songs for the next album...
